Digger vom haus Lena (call name “REBEL”)
is a son of Nicko vom Gelben Ruehl (of the world famous vom Gelben Ruehl kennels, well known for their production of intense working dogs) and Bella vom Hadeckerland (a daughter of the most famous vom Hadeckeland stud, Sam). Carrying the lines of Trienzbachtal, Batu, vom Ruhbachtal, and von der bösen Nachbarschaft, Digger boasts a pedigree full of world famous dogs known for performance, trainability, conformation and health. An excellent representative of what his bloodlines suggest he should be, Digger is a force to be reckoned with both on the field and in the show ring.
Sv Judge Johannes Grewe called Digger’s hold and bark “Forceful and convincing with very much power and presence” in addition to rating him “Pronounced” in both his SchH1 Protection phase and his Breed Survey. Digger followed this up with another “Pronounced” rating at the 2012 USCA Sieger Show under Performance judge Nathaniel Rocque. In addition to powerful and committed protection, Digger displays joyful, correct and animated obedience. He is well known for his focus heeling and happy dedication to his work. His tracking is methodical and thorough, a testament to the long line of FH dogs he comes from. He is not your typical showline dog, having earned multiple trophies for High Obedience, High Protection, High SchH1 and High in Trial.
In the show ring, Digger has as many accolades as he has earned on the field. At his very first S show he became the Regional Puppy vice Sieger. He followed that up with a vp19 at NASS in a huge class, an SG 13 at the following NASS (where he earned special recognition from then WDA president Danny Sprietler) and then , upon hitting the working males class, a v1 Regional Sieger win, followed by a v2 placement in a class of 9 working males just prior to his v20 placement at the 2012 Usca Sieger Show. He is undefeated in the UKC Chmpions class and holds many Best of Breeds and Best Stud Dog in Show awards through them in addition to 2 Total Dog Awards.
While all of the above are admirable accomplishments, Digger’s true value lies in his absolutely rock solid and incorruptible temperament. Not only does he have the temperament that every breeder/owner hopes for, he passes that on.
